Today, I had the privilege to worship with New Life Church in Abbotsford, and share this dialogue with their Pastor, Nathan Elgersma, on the scriptures that frame God's reconciling heart, and the call for followers of Jesus to be agents of reconciliation in a fractured world. On Palm Sunday, Christie and I had the privilege of joining our friends at Reach Community Church in North York, Ontario. This message, from Luke 19:28-44, marks out the incredible message of the cost which Jesus, our Prince of Peace, has paid for all that's fractured in our world, and the effect of sin past, present and future.
I recently had a conversation with our Global Director, Phil Wagler, exploring the foundation for peacemaking and reconciling in and from Canada.
Being called to live as an everyday peacemaker is core to being sent by Jesus into society. It is not an "add-on". It was such a privilege to share this message recently, and now to share this video from White Rock Community Church, in BC.
